Belli Challenge #91

A Belli Challenge? It's been forever since you've seen one of those on my blog! But guess what? I'm a Belli Girl again! Woo-hoo!

This weeks challenge is to use hole punches. I used the flourish on my patterned paper as a template and pierced along the swirls. We are also lucky to be sponsored by Sew Many Cards, who provided the cute digi bear stamp used on my card.

So head over to the Belli blog and look at all the gorgeous projects from everyone. Don't forget to make a project to be entered for a chance to win 5 free digi's from Sew Many Cards!

Thanks for stopping by!

Love

Happy Monday!

Simple quick, easy peasy. Stamp is from the Unity kit for January. Paper is 3 Bugs in a Rug- Bee Mine. I saw this paper line at my LSS and immediately thought of my friend Sarah. She's pretty much the "bees knees" and she knows it! ;)

My DH and I went out on a date yesterday. A real date. It's been a while since we've gone anywhere sans-kids. It was a nice break. We went to see Taken. It was such a good movie. But, just a warning, it totally makes me glad I don't have any girls and I'm pretty sure my boys will never leave the country without me! It really was good, though. Very intense.

Now I'm off to work on laundry. Sounds fun, huh? :)
Have a great day!

Heartfelt Thanks

This is an attempt at using my Christmas paper for a non Christmas card. Whatcha think? Did I pull it off? The paper is all Making Memories. The sentiment is Inque Boutique and the mittens image is Unity. It's all angled weird because I was trying to get a good pic of the snowflake. And I seriously need to invest in a dark background. :)

Hope you all have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Crate Flowers

I love this flower image from the Unity kit. So pretty. All the patterned paper is Crate Paper. That's really about it. Another easy card. Maybe I should have a section just for easy cards, since that seems to be my trend at the moment. :)

My ear is still full of fluid. It doesn't hurt anymore, just annoying as all get out. :) They tell me it will take time for it to finish draining. Hopefully not to much time. LOL!

Tomorrow is Challenge day. This week is a color challenge and it was super fun! Make sure you come back to see!

CBCC #21- CD Inspiration

First off, I have to welcome another talented "Chick" to our group- Kim!
Glad to have ya, girl!

Now, this weeks challenge was to take your favorite CD to listen to while stamping and use it for inspiration. Sounds easy enough, right? Uh, one problem. I don't listen to CD's. While I stamp I usually (I'm talking 99% of the time) listen to Pandora on my computer. Have you heard of Pandora? It's very cool. You pick some artists or songs you like and then it plays music based on your selections. If there is something you don't like, you get to give it a "thumbs down" and they won't play it again. And the more songs you give a thumbs up or down the more specific your "station" becomes. Very cool. Did I say that already? Anyway... here is what my Pandora screen looked like the other day. I just did a screen shot so you all could see what I was talking about-

I pondered this challenge for a very long time. Finally I ended up with this card-

I used a stamp from Unity, CS from SU and the patterned paper is from the new DCWV Sweet Stack. The papers in this stack are so cute! Think cupcakes, lollipops, jelly beans, glitter and super cute designs. So, whatcha think?

Be sure to check out the rest of the chicks creations. And if you play with us, link back to Courtney's blog and be sure to use keyword CBCC21 if you upload to SCS.

i adore you

Just playing with my December Unity kit. This is the first stamp out of the kit I've inked up and it's almost time for the January kit! Sigh. I think that means my housework is taking up too much of my time and not leaving enough time for crafty things. :)

The ribbon and patterned paper is American Crafts and the cardstock is SU and PTI. You can't see in the pic, but I took my Spica clear glitter pen and went over the image so it's nice and sparkly. And I used my new nesties too. It's pretty girly, dontcha think? Whatever will I do with it in a house full of stinky boys?!

CBCC #18- Dots!

This weeks Created By Courtney Challenge is to make something with dots! Lots of dots, little dots, big dots, few dots- use some dots! And now I feel like Dr Seuss. :)

I used my Unity November kit again. I love this tree, so cute! And since I still had my yummy felt ribbon out I used it again too. I left off a sentiment because I'm not sure what I want to use it for yet but I think it's a happy little card that will be good for anything. :)

Be sure to check out the other "chicks" and see what dottorific things they came up with, the links are on the side bar as always. And if you play along with us, link back to Courtney's blog and please use keyword CBCC18 when you upload to SCS.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great Tuesday!

Oh Deer!

Ha, I crack myself up! Not really but anyway...

I recently signed up for the monthly stamp kits from Unity. I have to say, I'm in love! This little deer was in the November kit and it is so stinkin' cute! I also finally broke down and cut into 2 things I've been hording. Sigh. It was tough. But I opened up the brown felt ribbon from SU! that I've had for a while now. It's so soft and perfect. I don't want to use it. Then I remembered that's why I bought it. Was to use it. :) I also cut in to my Basic Grey Mellow paper. This paper is over a year old. I had to have it and I've just never used it. The layout is from last weeks sketch challenge at SCS. I love sketch challenges, I need to do them more.

We got our tree put up this weekend, I'll post pics of that later. We also took the boys to get their Christmas pictures taken. Which is good since I totally forgot to get school pictures of Adam this year. Doh. Just call me Mother Of The Year. ;)

Have a super Monday, come back tomorrow for a new Created By Courtney Challenge!
