I love the boy stamps that Papertrey Ink has. This little rocket is too cute. I used the Sweet Sunday sketch #151 and came up with this simple encouragement card. The stamps and cardstock are PTI and the patterned paper is the Bo Bunny Blast Off collection.

Happy Birthday Flowers

Another cased card. I know, I know. But I'm out of practice and casing is the best way for me to get back into it . Anyway... I used this card on SCS for inspiration. I punched the leafy branches from some green CS using the cool SU! 2 step bird punch. The leaves and flowers were all punched from misc scraps of cardstock I had in my drawer. Great way to use up some of those scraps that seem to multiply when I'm not looking. :)

Grateful Leaves

This is another CASE. Have you heard of Susan Raihala- Lateblossom on SCS? She is without a doubt my Clean and Simple Hero! Her blog is my favorite place to go for inspiration. Anyway, I CASE'd this fabulous card of hers. And that guilt she expresses about not being able to comment on blogs in that same post? Yep, right there with her. See, we're like *this* even if she doesn't know me. ;o)

Missionary Countdown

Owen's preschool teacher sent her oldest son on his mission for the LDS church this month. I found these countdown blocks at a local store and had to make some for her! I also included some simple cards for her to send. She cried when I gave it to her. I think that's a good sign, right? :)

New Little Monster

I have a friend who is expecting baby #5(!) in a few weeks. While browsing the aisles at Target I found this super cute little monster outfit. Since she's having a boy, I just had to get it!



Then I made this card to go with it and packaged it up in a PTI Timeless Template to match.

I used the Eeek! A Monster stamp set from My Cute Stamps and some 3 Bugs In A Rug patterned paper. The cardstock is all PTI.

World Card

Alright, here it is. The last card with the Heavenly Medley set. I found this paper at my LSS and thought it would be great with the world image. The ribbon is American Crafts(I love their polka dot ribbons, so cute!) and the cardstock is all PTI.

CBCC #40- Buttons!

This weeks challenge is all about using buttons! I have to say, I love me some buttons. I have collected quite the stash! I've had this idea in my head for some time now, to use buttons as the blooms on a flower. I figured this challenge was the perfect time to make it real!

I made a one layer card using stems from the My Cute Stamps- Spunky Nature Set and a sentiment from PTI- Green Thumb Set. The cardstock and ink are both PTI too. The ribbon is American Crafts.

Together Forever

Are you sick of the Heavenly Medley set yet? :)
The cardstock is PTI, the patterned papers are Pebbles Inc and the leaf is a SU! die. The layout is a Sheetload of Cards sketch. But I don't remember what month. And I don't have my print out sitting here to look at. And I'm much too lazy to hunt it down right now. But if you really want to know what month, I'll find it. :)
I have a few more cards that I made using this set, but I'll give you a break and post them next week sometime.

More Heavenly Medley...

Heavenly Medley

This months PTI release included a set called Heavenly Medley. I knew from the sneak peeks that it was a set I had to have. :)

This is the first card I made with it-


Everything is PTI. This set is one that I'm struggling with a little. I like it so much I don't want to "mess it up" if that makes sense. I guess the only way to get over that is just to use it, right? :)

This weekend I went and saw My Sisters Keeper. Oh my, it was soooo good! I cried and cried. But I loved it. I totally recommend it, just be sure to bring some tissues. There was a couple of people in the theater that were just sobbing. Seriously sobbing. So I guess if you don't like movies that make you cry, you might not like it. But I really thinks its worth seeing. It's the kind of movie that makes you appreciate the different relationships you have in your life. And I'll quit rambling about it now... :)
