Are you sick of the Heavenly Medley set yet? :)
The cardstock is PTI, the patterned papers are Pebbles Inc and the leaf is a SU! die. The layout is a Sheetload of Cards sketch. But I don't remember what month. And I don't have my print out sitting here to look at. And I'm much too lazy to hunt it down right now. But if you really want to know what month, I'll find it. :)
I have a few more cards that I made using this set, but I'll give you a break and post them next week sometime.

SheetLoad of Pun Fun!

I used this months SheetLoad issue to make these.



Here are the close ups of the individual cards-




I used my Basic Grey Cupcake 6x6 paper pad for all 3. Made it easy to have a sketch and coordinating paper sitting here. Plus pre-stamped images. All I had to do was color them in and throw them together.
Some of these might be showing up soon in mailboxes for the Kids Summer RAK's(which are due today)!

I stink you're sweet!


Courtney was so very kind to send me some Pun Fun images. This one just called for a floral patterned paper background so I broke out my PTI Bitty Baby Blessings paper.

Can I let you in on a little secret? I am so ready to toss that paper out my window, it's not even funny. Everything I try to do with it, ends up wonky. Grrrr. Seriously. I think the Lavender Moon color is cursed for me or something. Cardstock, patterned paper, twill ribbon, doesn't matter. It all hates me! LOL! Alright, enough complaining. I like how this card turned out, it was just waaaayyy more complicated than it needed to be!

A challenge...

and how NOT to do it!

Lorie issued us a challenge to make one or more cards using this months Sheetload design.
Here is my first attempt. Notice the upside down torn portion. Yeah, it helps to actually look at the design before you start ripping up paper!


No sentiment, no embellishments. I figured I better stop before it got any worse. Look, even my camera doesn't like it! It wouldn't focus on it! Ha!



And here is attempt #2.


Ahhhhh, better. Still not exactly like the design, but much more pleasing to look at. And ribbon makes everything better, right? So there you have it. My advice? Try reading the directions and measurements before you start creating! LOL! Save yourself the headache!
