Blog Candy!

Yep. That's right. Blog candy. Why? Because I am in a foul mood. That's why. It's only Tuesday and yet it has been an awful week so far. Actually an awful year, but that's another story. So I figure what better way to make me happy than to do something nice for someone else. Of course I'm going to be a little selfish and make you work for it though.

So what do you have to do to win the blog candy? Leave me a comment and tell me what you do to make yourself feel better when you are in a bad mood. This will stay open until Thursday at 11:59 pm. I will choose a name Friday morning. Sound good? Alrighty then.

Here's the goods-

1 set Inkadinkado Birthday Cupcake stamp set
Assortment of Bazzill Bitty Blossoms
2 yards of "Thank You" printed twill

I'm going to say only those in the US may enter. Because frankly, I'm pretty sure no one outside the US reads my blog. And I think there are like 3 of you in the US that read my blog. So, if you are not in the US and you read my blog, let me know. I might pick you anyway!

Any questions?

Hmmm...lets see. I usually just blurf (blog surf) or watch t.v. But sometimes I eat and them I'm in a worse mood because I ate to much. It can be a never ending cycle! I hope things are better soon!

Oh my word you are too stinkin' funny!

Ok, I go to the movies. It is nice to get into someone else's story for a while. Sometimes Josh comes home and takes one look at me and says "go to the movies... see you later". I love him!

Let's see, if movies won't work, I soak in the tub... and read a good book.

Oh, and I pray!

Super big hugs to you... I'm so blessed to have met you and have you as my friend! (Does flattery move me up in the candy chain??) LOL!

Oops! I just realized my husband was signed in to his blog when I left my other comment!

Duh!

Sorry!

Oh my heck. Gee, I wonder why your year has sucked so far? (ha)
I go for a walk. (I know you won't like that answer.)
I also like to sleep. (Yeah, like that's going to happen)
Prayer is good. So are baths. Oh, how about calling your sister and venting?

OK here is what I do when I am in a bad mood! I go get a pepsi and some chocolate and sit at the computer and surf all of my friends blogs & I get inspired by all of the amazing things that they do and Cute!!! cards they make.

I am from Canada...oh no!

Anyhoo, I like to blurf and hide in my office from my children. I won't say the tub (even though I love it) since my kids always seem to bang down the door to come in!

Sorry things aren't going so good. Hate it when that happens!!!

I tend to RUN, not walk, to a bag of Doritos. Just about any flavor will do, but my drug of choice is Cool Ranch!

Oh, and I surf the blogs/scs for cards inspiration to make when I am in a better mood (how I found your blog btw)! Hopefully, you will have a chance to do ALL of our methods and that may help you. Either that or make you go up a pant size. -michelle

Sorry that you're in a foul mood. It's been one of those weeks around here, but let's just get over ourselves and be happy! :O)

To help myself defunkify (nice word, eh?), I usually play with my dog. He's the best. He's just a big fluffy ball of pure love. No questions asked. Can't help but feel relaxed around him.

I bake something yummy (mmm... chocolate) and then I eat it :-). I usually package up whatever is left to share with friends or coworkers; making other people happy makes me happy.

Hope you find some way to make the best out of whatever the situation is.

When I'm in a foul mood I usually yell at my DH and blurf. Vent to my friends on the PIF thread and stamp. It's pretty sad, my stamping area has been moved to in front of my computer.

I visit funny blogs like yours. That is some nice tatoo you have on your arm. Too Funny!
Acutally if I am in a funk I hibernate to my room, open a window and let in some fresh air and just drift off into lala land. Usually when I wake up I am much happier.

sorry, you had a bad day.

When I'm having a bad day I try to have DH watch the kids so I can sneak off for a few minutes to my scraproom. Not that I actually get much scrapping/stamping done if I'm in a foul mood, but I'll usually clean and straighten it. Just a few minutes of quiet time is sometimes enough to be able to feel refreshed and able to cope with the days hassles.

When I am in a bad mood (which has been a lot recently) or stressed (they go hand in hand don't they?) I blurf, watch tv, and craft (sometimes all at the same time). Other times I read a good mystery book. Thanks for the great candy and I hope it gets better soon!

Well, 7 comments already see more than 3 people read your blog. I tend to think a good cry does wonders, releases endorphines. I aloe enjoy a bathm hugs, from pretty much anyone that will hug me like they mean it. If nothing else works, I nap, curl up back in bed, read, do a crossword and hibernate. Try any or all an see what works. Good luck!

You are very funny!
I am sure all the comments above must have already got you out of the bad mood you were in. For me taking a brisk walk or exercise always works.
Hope this helps.

When I am in a bad mood I grab some chocolate and hang out on the computer and read my fav blogs, websites, etc. I'm sorry you were having such a bad day!

I love this stamp set! I go shopping! Spending money on me always makes me feel better.

I do a lot of things when I'm in the dumps. First I usually try eating bakery or chips. That never works. Just makes me feel fatter. Then I try staring at the TV for hours. Doesn't work. Just makes me feel lazier. Then I'll try shopping. That doesn't work. Just makes me feel poorer and more cluttered. Usually the only thing that DOES work is doing something nice for myself (a pedicure, making myself stamp, etc.) or doing something nice to brighten someone else's day. So you're on the right track! Thanks for offering the awesome candy. I know someone will LOVE it!

When I'm in a mood like you are I don't even want to be in the same room with myself ! Chocolate works, so does ice cream, a long drive, yelling out loud, watching a movie or just going to bed.

Sweet looking candy!

I usually just get lost on the internet blogs, smiling at all the awesome creativity. Really does help. Also, unfortunately, I often eat to feel better and watch some TV.

Val said...

Foul mood...yeah, I can relate to that! I usually get on the computer and either play games, surf stamping blogs or just read email. At least no one talks to me then!!

At this moment I'm having some troubles with a (lazy) collegue at work, so when I get very stressed about this in the morning, I take a walk along the river nearby during my midday break. After that I'm very relaxed and I can get through the afternoon.

When I get to feelin a little down...I scrapbook or create and get lost in my creation..Especially if it's something from a happy moment in time.

Hope you will be feeling happier soon. Now matter how I'm feeling, I always try to wear a smile. It's hard to feel down, when so many people are returning that smile:)

I'm actually half way around the world :P I won't enter for the blog candy, but when I'm in a bad mood, ice-cream cheers me up :) Or just look at all the pretty cards and crafts on my reader.

'So sorry you're having a crappy week...that sucks! We can all relate though, cuz we've all been there! Sending you cyber hugs!
I always feel better when I do something special for someone else...sharing this sweet blog candy is a great start! Other ideas would be...do something you love, (for me, that's making cards!), hug your boys, call a good friend, go for a walk, surf all the amazing blogs out there, watch a funny movie and eat popcorn...or chocolate!
One of my favorite quotes is - "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."
Saying a prayer for you,

(oh, I'm from Canada, so I'm not eligible to win...but we are here!!)

I'm sorry to hear that you've been having a crummy time lately and hope that things improve very soon! When I'm in a terrible mood or having a bad day, I play piano, do some stamping, watch my favorite TV shows, take a walk, eat lots of dessert, vent to friends, or go shopping :)

Giovana said...

Sorry to hear you are not having good days. Sometimes that happens to me too, lately I've been having difficult times. When I feel that way I clean my house, yes sounds silly right? but I clean everything, chairs, tables, beds, you name it, I put all my effort on my cleaning and sometimes that meakes me feel better.
Other thing I like to do too is Watch TV and rest.

I hope you feel better now.

God bless
Giovana

Sorry to hear your world is upside down of late. When I'm mad or angey I always clean the house. It gets rid of the bad karma and I get a tidy place out of the deal.

I exercise! I lost 100 pounds 7 years ago and never want to gain it back. The exercise kicks in the endorphins and makes me feel so much better. I also listen to positive affirmations on my mp3 player when I walk to work. Hope you feel happier soon.

Thanks for the chance to win the blog candy.

Ice cream! Ben & Jerry's to be exact. Any flavor, although with more stuff mixed in the better. Then I try to lose myself in a good book. Sometimes it's hard to concentrate but if I keep at it I can usually lose myself for a while. Thanks so much for offering such great candy to your readers. See, there are a lot more than 3.
