Birthday Card Swap

This is a SU! only card for a bday card swap I did. They weren't due until next month but I went ahead and got them done and in the mail. And it's a good thing. I swear everything I touched yesterday turned to crap! Arg! But hey, at least this is kind of OK.

I don't have much in the way of background kind of stamps. Wanna know how I made my square for my image? I took my Certainly Celery ink pad and stamped the pad on my paper. Then I stamped the leaf image and the sentiment and cut around the edges of the green ink. A little distressing, some more inking and a ribbon gives you a birthday card. Not too shabby, eh? Anyway, by using the ink pad as my stamp it left a void in the middle perfect for framing the main image. The paper is from an old Simply Scrappin' kit. Let me know if you have any questions. Otherwise, I'm outta here. Adam has a Dr appt today and I have to go get prescriptions filled. Oh, and, did I mention? I'm pretty sure I'm getting an ear infection. Joy.

Go have a good day. Sheesh, already. :) (You all know I'm not really this cranky all the time, right?)

Yikes an ear infection does not sound like fun. Hope you feel better soon.
