Vinyl Lettering

So I have this awesome friend Kris who does vinyl lettering. I had her do some stuff for me at Christmas and then again a couple weeks ago I asked her to do another project for me.

For Christmas I made all the parents and married siblings these name plaques.

And then last month I had her do part of my address along with No Soliciting to put on the front of my house. We had numerous door to door sales one week and that prompted me to get a sign. But I can't have just any sign!

Yes, I know the numbers are all blurred. I blurred them in Photoshop. Not especially comfortable sticking my address out there. Trust that it looks perfect in real life! Anyway... I painted the board a Barn Red color and put the vinyl on. Then I took my Beautiful set from Cornish Heritage Farms and stamped around the edges with black StazOn. Easy to do but makes a much bigger impact.

So, the dentist was alright. Owen did wonderful! He had trouble with the X-rays but other than that he was great. No cavities for him! I, on the other hand, have to go back Friday and have a couple filled. Boo. I suppose that's what I get for waiting 3 years to go in. Oh well! I'm strong, I can do it! LOL! :)

Have a great day everyone!

Oh, how cool are these? I love 'em!

And door to door salesmen? Cheese. How annoying! They always seem to knock at the door when you're in your jammies or cleaning up vomit or something. sigh. (I really like how you blurred the numbers... it actually looks really cool!)

I knew that Owen would do well at the dentist...they are so gentle with children. Also, love the name/address thingies (so technical I know). I love that type of thing! You'll be fine on Friday! :o)
